Why Sigma Males are More Attractive Than Alpha Males
I’ve always been attracted to the dark, mysterious type. The ones who don’t come off as cocky or arrogant but relatively confident in their own skin and secure with themselves.
There’s just something about them that draws me in makes me want to know more about who they are and what they’re all about.
And no, it’s not because of some weird fascination I have with serial killers (though there is a bit of that). It’s just because sigma males are more attractive than alpha males for various reasons.
1) Sigma Males are More Confident Than Alpha Males
Recent research has shown that people naturally find alphas unattractive because they associate these personalities with aggression and an inability to control emotions.
Alpha males may be confident on the surface, but they often feel insecure and constantly worry about their rank.
In contrast, sigmas are self-assured without being cocky. They don’t need to put others down to feel better about themselves. And because they aren’t as concerned with status or competition, they’re more relaxed and approachable.
2) Sigma Males Are More Independent Than Alpha Males
Sigma males are more independent than alpha males.
They know they can’t do everything independently, but they also don’t need to lean on others for help or support because of that independence.
On the other hand, Alpha males rely heavily on others to build their egos and rarely make decisions independently. They often try to control those around them to feel powerful.
Sigma males are content with who they are and don’t need the approval of others.
3) They Are More Down-To-Earth Than Alpha Males

Alpha males think the world revolves around them and their needs, but sigma males are more down-to-earth and know that the world doesn’t revolve around them.
They also don’t need to be worshipped as an alpha male does. In fact, they often find it irritating.
Sigma males are more humble and don’t put themselves on a pedestal. They’re just happy being who they are.
4) Sigma Males Don’t Have That Superficial Alpha Male Ego.
Alpha males have this inflated ego because they like to have power and control over others.
Sigma males don’t feel the need for that inflated ego because they already know who they are, so it doesn’t matter how other people perceive them.

Alpha males are often one-dimensional and don’t have much to discuss because their interests lie mainly in themselves.
On the other hand, Sigma males are intellectually stimulating and have a lot to offer in terms of conversation. They’re well-rounded individuals who are interested in a variety of topics.
6) They Are More Emotionally Stable Than Alpha Males
Alpha males are emotional roller coasters. One minute they’re up, the next they’re down, and they can’t seem to stay on an even keel for very long.
Sigma males, on the other hand, are more emotionally stable. They aren’t as easily influenced by their emotions and can stay calm under pressure.
7) Sigma Males Are More Sensitive And Compassionate Than Alpha Males
Alpha males are a little more cold-hearted than sigma males because they think being harsh and ruthless will get them what they want.
They also need power, control, domination, and superiority over others.
Sigma males are more sensitive to other people’s feelings, making them better in some cases. They also have more compassion for those who are weaker than them.
8) They Are More Likely To Be A Good Listener Than Alpha Males

Alpha males often love to talk about themselves and really don’t care about what others say.
On the other hand, Sigma males are good listeners and will actually take the time to listen to what the other person is saying. They are more interested in hearing the other person’s story than telling their own.
9) Sigma Males Can Be More Loyal Than Alpha Males
Alpha males typically have many girls on the go at once; they usually have no problem with cheating.
Sigma males don’t tend to cheat because their loyalty lies in themselves and not other people, so they can know they are loyal if they are committed to someone.
[mailerlite_form form_id=1]10) They Are More Thoughtful Than Alpha Males
Alpha males often don’t think things through before acting, but sigma males do.
They like to plan and figure out all the different angles before deciding. This can sometimes make them seem slow, but it’s really because they want to make sure they’re making the best decision possible.
11) Sigma Males Are More Open To New Ideas Than Alpha Males
This has to do with how both genders are socialized, so Sigma males are more eager to try new things and take risks.
Alpha males are risk-averse and like to stick to what they know. They’re not as open to new experiences or ideas.
12) Sigma Males Are More Supportive Than Alpha Males
This is because they were raised in a more laid-back or free-spirited household, so they aren’t as critical of others and are more open to other people’s ideas than an Alpha Male would be.
They also don’t tend to be measured by a few skin cells or an IQ number.
13) Sigma Males Are More Courageous Than Alpha Males
Alpha males are often cowards because they’re afraid of things that might threaten their power or status.
Sigma males are more courageous because they don’t let fear control them. They will face their fears head-on and aren’t take on new challenges.
14) Alpha Males Tend To Lose Interest Quicker Than Sigma Males

Alpha males lose interest because they have a limited attention span, and their life is based on one focus at a time.
For example, when an alpha male falls in love with someone, he’s really into her for a while, but then his interests will change to something else like work or school.
On the other hand, Sigma Males are more content with life and don’t worry about remaining committed to one person for a more extended period.
15) Sigma Males Never Need To Compete With Anyone Else For Attention
Unlike alpha males, Sigma males are content with themselves and do not need attention from other people as much.
They also have a more stable emotional state and are happy with their own company. This makes them less likely to compete with others for attention.
16) They Rarely Get Jealous Of Other People’s Successes
Alpha males are often very competitive and jealous of other people’s successes.
Sigma males don’t feel the need to compare themselves to others and be happy for their successes. Jealousy is not a part of their vocabulary.
17) Sigma Males Hate Drama
Alpha males, on the other hand, live for drama.
Sigma males take a more passive approach to relationships and do not like confrontations or arguments because they too easily trigger them.
They have learned that arguing is never productive and can make people feel bad about themselves.
This leads to increased self-loathing, which sigma males want to avoid at all costs.
18) Alpha Males Want To Control
This type of behavior can be wrong for relationships because alpha males want to control everything in the relationship, which causes them not to listen when they should or take advice from an outside source; both are things a Sigma will avoid at all costs.
This is because Sigma males are more content with themselves and do not need other people’s attention.
They also have a more stable emotional state and are happy with their own company.
19) Sigma Males Will Challenge You To Be Your Best Self
A sigma male will challenge you to be your best self and help in whatever way they can because that’s what a true friend does.
When it comes down to the end of the day, he doesn’t want anything from you other than for you to be happy and prosperous.
Alpha males will not challenge you in this way because they are more interested in themselves and what they can get from you.
20) They Are More Likely To Be A Good Father Than Alpha Males
This is because they are more in touch with their emotions and provide a more nurturing environment for their children.
On the other hand, Alpha males often struggle with emotions and maybe too busy building their careers or chasing after money to be good fathers.
